The FYUGP Social Work programme is designed to nurture socially responsible individuals equipped to address community challenges and promote social welfare. The curriculum combines classroom learning with extensive fieldwork, enabling students to engage directly with communities, NGOs, and development agencies. The programme emphasizes values such as empathy, leadership, ethics, and social justice while developing professional skills in counselling, community organisation, and social research. Graduates can pursue careers in NGOs, government welfare departments, healthcare institutions, and international organisations, or opt for higher studies and research in social work and development studies.

  Eligibility

A pass in higher secondary examination of Kerala or any other examination recognized as equivalent to +2 by the University of Kerala.
