METCA TRUST (Muslim Education Trust for Coastal Area)

Muslim Education Trust for Coastal Area(METCA) is a charitable Trust established by a group of eminent visionaries hailing from different socio-economic, cultural, political and business backgrounds. It has 365 members. METCA was formed with the mission of promoting quality education to the society. Virtues and values play a great role in making a citizen. Nurturing human differences builds him up. The identity thus acquired makes him Successful in life. METCA strives for it .This is managed by a Governing body, consisting of seven members, elected from the Managing Committee. The trust also provides free education to many students, who really deserve.

CHMM College is one of the First Self Financing Colleges in Kerala University and it holds first position in results, discipline and in securing placements. Other Institutions under the Muslim Educational Trust for Costal Area (METCA) are Metca Institute for Teacher Education (MITE) and Moulana ASad Memorial Model School (MAM Model School).

The two year B.Ed course in the METCA Institute is offering Teacher Education in Mathematics, Physical Science, Natural Science, English and Social Science. The school offers standard Montessori education to the students from play school to plus two. The MBA and MCA courses offered at CHMM College are of a high standard valued best by the HR managers.

Muslim Educational Trust for Costal Area (METCA) is a Muslim Minority Charitable Trust formed for the upliftment for the people of the area, especially the Muslim minority and other marginalized sections, through promoting quality education, and involving in other service fields.
In the realm of quality education METCA is rendering a yeoman service to the people of the area. A senior Arts and Science College, a renowned institution for MBA, one of the best colleges in Kerala for MCA, a well run B.Ed Training college (MITE), a igher Secondary School strictly following syllabus and norms and a Montessori nursery school are run by METCA Trust.

Healthy discipline is maintained in all these institutions and value education is imparted to the students with an overall view of their all round development. All the institutions are making very good results and our students are getting placements in Campus Interviews. Scores of students got employment in reputed companies inside and outside India.

The sprawling but serene METCA compound gives the feel of a university that adds to the studiousness of students.
