Master of Computer Application (MCA) is a
three-year master degree course in computer applications.
Any graduate student who has passed or appearing in final
year exam is eligible for Master of Computer Application course.
BCA qualified students more preferably opt for this course.
MCA is considered equivalent to engineering.
After earning an MCA degree from a reputed Institute, there are a plethora of job opportunities available in the market. There is a wide scope for MCA graduates in government as well as private sector. As a fresher, an MCA professional can expect anything around 2.4 to 3.4 lakhs. Top companies hiring MCA graduates are Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, IBM, American Express, HCL, HP etc.

A pass in any recognized Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10, +2 level OR pass in any Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the Subject OR should have passed in BCA Degree of minimum 3 years duration from a recognized university.
Recognized bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA, B.Sc(IT/CS) with Mathematics as a course at 10, +2 level or at Graduation level shall be eligible. The candidate should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% mark in their qualifying examination (45% in case of reserved category). Required to qualify entrance test conducted by LBS.

2. Degree Consolidated Mark List
3. Degree Provisional Certificate
4. Degree Certificate
5. T.C & Conduct Certificate
6. Migration / Eligibility Certificate
7. Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC (in case of marks less than 50%)

Candidate seeking admission to the course should be
qualified from any University in Kerala or any other
Universities, recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala.
Final Year regular Bachelor’s Degree students are also permitted to appear for the Entrance Examination subject to the condition that the original degree certificate and mark lists of all parts of the qualifying examination shall be produced by the candidate at the time of admission.
